Social and Interest Groups

Looking for something to do around Croydon? Want to meet some new friends? Perhaps you have just moved to the Maroondah area, are recently retired or your youngest child has just started school and you are at a loose end… Our social groups are a great way to meet new people and get out and about. Our variety of social clubs cater for a range of people with different interests. We have a group just for men, women’s clubs, and many open groups that welcome anyone and everyone, in fact some couples even join together! Our men’s discussion group gives guys a chance to chat about current events and also make new friends in the area. Our many women’s groups are tremendously popular – who doesn’t like a chat over a cuppa?! Most of the ladies’ groups are active and go out to the movies, theatre, markets, cafés, etc. We also host three book groups – so if you love to read make sure to join one of these book clubs. Other interest groups include a writers’ group and social tennis group – so come and join some friendly likeminded people for a chat. These groups are a great opportunity to meet people and offer an excuse to get out and about and enjoy your free time.
